ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Pastor Simeon Oghenerhoro Ajueyitsi hails from Okurighwre village in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State. He had his primary Education in Roman Catholic missionary primary school, Oria, Abraka and NBC Primary School, Okurighwre where he finished in 1973 with his First School Leaving Certificate. He got admission into the Anglican Boys grammar school (now Oghwere Grammar School) Okpara Water-side, and sat for the West African School Certificate Examination and passed in 1978.
He then proceeded to Government College Ughelli in 1982 where he did his A-levels exams in 1984.He got admission into Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 1985 to study Environmental Health. While there he had an opportunity to prepare for the West Africa Heath Examination Board (WAHEB) examinations for Environmental Health Officers right on OAU campus with visiting tutors from school of hygiene.
He passed the exam 1988 and now holds a Diploma in Public Health. He obtain a bachelor degree in 1990 from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with a third class honours.
In 1999 he proceeded for a Master’s degree in Environmental Management with the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akumgba- Akoko, Ondo State where he came out with first class.
In 2005, he got a Certificate from a NUFFIC scholarship to do a three weeks short course in solid waste management and engineering, UNESCO-IHE, Delft, the Netherlands. He is currently admitted to read a PhD in Environmental Health.
He got into public service in 1992 with the Abuja Environmental Protection Board where he rose to the rank of a Director, Environmental Health and Head of Environmental Health and Safety Department.
He was appointed a resource person by Veritas University (Catholic University of Nigeria) consultancy unit, Bwari campus, Abuja in 2017 where he lectures in Environmental Health and Safety.
He was appointed a resource person as a facilitator in a short course on advanced diploma in solid waste management at the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja in 2022.
He was again appointed a resource person to the National Institute of Environmental Health, Environmental Health Council of Nigeria, Abuja.
He was a Pastor in Deeper Life Bible Church FCT and later moved to Christ Apostolic Church, FCC, DCC, Garki, Abuja, after marriage; where he served God in His Vineyard in the capacity of a Sunday school teacher and a Prison outreach Minister. He got married to Ms Felicia Ajueyitsi and they were blessed with three children.
