ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mary Mosindi hails from Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta
State, Nigeria. She is a 1995 graduate of the University of Benin where she
obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Department of Theatre Arts. She
also acquired a Master of Science Degree in International Relations from the
Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 2000 from same
university.
She is a Member of these Professional Bodies: Society of Nigerian
Broadcasters (SNB), and Corporate Administration Institute (CAI).
Empowering Voices: A Guide to Role Plays for Social Change (The
Facilitator’s Work Book) is amongst her numerous works which include; The Story
of Three Nigerian Girls: Nuggets of Wisdom, a play Broken Hearts, a novel
Stolen Stars and a Children’s Story Book Iyanda The Fighter and Other Stories.
Her other prominent books are Echoes of Tomorrow, Unchained: Rewriting the
Narrative of Domestic Abuse, Empowering Voices: A Guide to Role Plays for
Social Change (The Facilitator’s Work Book), A Balanced Body, Balanced Life: A
Holistic Health Guide for Women, Carving Your Own Niche: The Story of Mimi and
many more.
Mary is
a passionate storyteller, advocate, and educator dedicated to amplifying the
voices of women and inspiring the next generation of leaders. With a deep
connection to Nigerian culture and a love for weaving powerful narratives, Mary
Mosindi brings to life stories that reflect the resilience, courage, and wisdom
of everyday people striving for extraordinary change.
Through writing, mentorship, and public speaking, Mary has
worked to empower young women to embrace their potential, challenge societal
norms, and pursue their dreams unapologetically. Her work is a testament to the

When not writing, Mary enjoys exploring Nigeria’s rich
cultural heritage, connecting with communities, and nurturing spaces where
