Writing this book with the theme of the 50th Jubilee anniversary and Annual National Conference of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) as the title, stems from the leading and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. I knew He was up to something new and refreshing in our lives. I am humbled to be so used and thank God for this unique privilege to present this legacy work to this generation and generations yet unborn. I love the words of Benjamin Franklin and let this motivate all Christian Graduates, “If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading or do things worth writing.” Today, you have in your hands the book, JUBILEE: A NEW DAWN EXPERIENCE first scripted as a Bible Study outline. It is a great book with four chapters. The remaining three chapters will be captured in the next edition. We have the definition of Jubilee as explained in the light of scriptures and in real life. The first mention of the word JUBILE (KJV) or JUBILEE (other versions) in the book of Leviticus follows as chapter two. Good example they say is the best teacher and God’s word contains series of new dawn experiences by reason of seasons of Jubilee. How then can one enjoy Jubilee or experience a new dawn was also spelt out in clear terms. Finally, we have a word of caution, on vices to avoid in our season of Jubilee. If not checked or curtailed, it can lead to major setbacks in our walk with God and work for God. Do have a pleasant reading experience. Above all, enter your season of jubilation, joy and celebration to the glory of God. The spiritual realm is so real than anything we can see with our eyes. That is why the HOW of Jubilee must be taken to heart and practiced for our benefit. When you are in a JUBILEE, you will enjoy divine presence, purity, provision, protection, promotion, preservation and profit. As we celebrate this year of Jubilee, these blessings are available for the taking. Stretch your faith and possess your possessions in Christ. With Christ, we do not wait for 50 years to enjoy our Jubilee. Christ Jesus has become our Jubilee because He paid the price and we can receive the prize of Jubilee (Isaiah 61:1-4). It is now a daily experience – a NEW DAWN experience.
It dawned on me like the dew of heaven, on Saturday 14th June 2025, that I should translate the Bible Study outline of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) into an e-Book. For three reasons: to serve as a legacy of the golden jubilee Anniversary celebration of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF); to deepen the spiritual content of the Bible Study outline and the present the practical applications that we wish to buttress in the outline that may not be addressed due to time constraint during the Bible Study classes.
By God’s grace as the National Vice President of this great and noble Fellowship and the National Bible Study Coordinator, preparation of the National Bible study was one unique assignment am saddled with, and I count it a divine privilege to be part of this project.
With a team of 53 Bible Study leaders and teachers from our chapters across the nation, the outline was developed for presentation, corrections, adoption for use at the National Conference and subsequent fellowship events at Chapter level.
Permit me to also state here that I am authoring this book based on the fact that 98% of the content was from the Holy Spirit through me. That meant the Bible Study was first developed by me, by God’s grace, and posted on the platform for input, contribution and correction by other Bible Study teachers and leaders. Only one member contributed, Prof. Chinwe Poly-Mbah, and she requested that we add the passage in Leviticus 25 which addresses the subject of Jubilee for the first time in the entire Bible. So, as expected of a believer, I am not taking credit for what I did not do. Just saying this to say I do not support plagiarism. All the same, I must thank all Bible Study leaders and Bible teachers in the platform for their cooperation and commitment to this project, especially around prayers and discussions during the online preparatory classes.
Fortunately, we all gave the outline a pass mark and forwarded same to NEC for approval. NEC gave us a go-ahead to use the outline in June 2025 while the preparatory took off in July 2025. That is why I am dedicating this book to all past and present national leaders of NCGF, for encouraging the servants of God in NCGF in our quest to serve. Our motto remains SAVED TO SERVE.
The significance of our 50th anniversary and golden Jubilee celebration in bringing a NEW DAWN encounter is key in this reading experience. The LORD will show us in this First Edition that a NEW DAWN encounter and experience will always give a better future than the past. The path of the just is like a shining light that shines more until the perfect day of His return. What Jubilee connotes and how that relates to a NEW DAWN experience will be unveiled to all readers.
